Hi there! My name is Phoebe. I’m a lover of all things aesthetic, especially photography. For as long as I can remember I have always lusted to travel. At the age of 20 I took my first big solo trip to Europe and have loved travelling independently there since. Last year I made one life’s biggest decisions, after completely settling into my job, finally finding Mr. Right and immersing myself into a convenient and comfortable lifestyle, I moved to the UK to work and travel at the same time. Living in Europe was something I’ve always dreamt of. With already the qualifications to continue working as a radiographer without any further study required, I left everything but my suitcase behind and embarked on an unforgettable adventure. Pack Your Camera is a photography blog and an extension to my existing travel blog on tumblr.
One of the biggest questions I always get asked when talking about my one year adventure is “what do you pack?”. To me, the most essential thing I pack before embarking on an overseas adventure is mycamera. After an incredible adventure I like to look back on my shots and remember all the beautiful moments through something visual, something memorable, something I can actually blow up and put on my wall. Although daunting at first, don’t let the doubts hold you back from an overseas trip you may be considering. If you love to take photos and are looking for some inspiration… watch this space!
